Electronic resources for Engineering

 

  • UNI The University Libraries Center has subscribed for the online consultation of UNI Standards. The subscription allows viewing of all the Standards in pdf format.
    In order to access the Standards it is necessary to request registration as users at the University Center for Libraries.

  • CEI The subscription for the online consultation of the CEI Global Standards selection 001 "Total collection of CEI Standards" has been renewed in a new form.

    The use is allowed to all users in possession of an email account with '... @ unina.it' or '... @ students.unina.it' domains.

    A registration on CEI MyNorma Portal is required to access:
    https://my.ceinorme.it/home.html

    Already registered users and/or users who already have credentials for the previous subscription, will have to proceed with a new registration.

    Each user can download and print each publication only once; the downloaded publications will be available offline just on the device of the user who made the download.
    After logging in, select "Use your subscription" to search for publications. Clicking on the standard of interest opens the bibliographic file.
    Selecting "View", a LOCKED POPUP will appear at the top of the toolbar.
    IMPORTANT: open the popup by selecting "Always allow popups from CEI site"
    For consultation it is necessary to install the FILE OPEN plugin:

    The subscription includes 4 simultaneous logins. When the maximum number of simultaneous logins is reached, a further user will be able to connect only when a connected user disconnects, so it is very recommended to click the "Logout" button at the end of each work session.

  • Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana The Gazzetta Ufficiale has been made available and free of charge by the State Printing Office, in its various series, from the 1 January 2013 in digital format, in text format from 1988 and in graphic format from 1946.

  • EMERALD The online subscriptiono to Emerald eJournals Engineering Collection (62 titles) is active.
    Access is through IP address recognition. Institutional users can access from external locations by configuring a proxy server.
    The subscription includes:
    - perpetual access to journals from the year of subscription;
    - temporary access to the previous titles in the collection;
    - no limit for downloads or multiple and simultaneous users;
    - access to additional free resources via the website:

  • BSOL- British Standards Online The University Centre for Libraries has an active subscription to the BSOL database (Online portal of the English legislation
    Full-text database of technical standards:
    - EN standards, published by CEN and CENELEC, implemented by BSI (BSI is the UK regulatory body)
    - ISO standards implemented by BSI
    - native BSI standards
    - native ISO standards not implemented by BSI
    The subscription includes both the standards in force and the withdrawals. The standards can be viewed, printed and downloaded.

    Use of the standards is for study and research purposes only. Their use for purposes other than those agreed by the institution, or transfer the standards to unauthorized third parties is forbidden.

  • Taylor & Francis Science & Technology Library. The University Centre for Libraries has subscribed to the Taylor & Francis Science & Technology Library. The database includes multiple disciplines including: architecture, earth sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, engineering.

  • ACS - American Chemical Society. The University Centre for Libraries has subscribed to the ACS database. Full text periodicals published by the American Chemical Society.

  • ASTM Compass. The University Center for Libraries has subscribed to the ASTM Compass database, which includes the standards and publications of the American Society for Testing Materials.
    ASTM Compass includes standards and publications related to aerospace engineering, biomedical, biotechnological, chemical, civil, environmental, geological, health and safety, industrial, material science, mechanical, nuclear, oil, soil and solar engineering.

  • ASME Journals. The University Library has subscribed to the online subscription to ASME - The American Society of Mechanical Engineers - Digital Collection Journals which includes n. 31 journals.
    Access to full-text occurs by automatic recognition of IP addresses within the University network and by proxy outside.

  • ELSEVIER. A subscription to over 2300 periodicals published by Elsevier is active.
    Access to the titles available on the Science Direct Platfom starting from 1995.

  • IEE/IET Electronic Library. The University Center for Libraries has subscribed to the IEL database. Published by IEEE, it contains almost a third of the whole literature in electric engineering, communication engineering and information technology.

  • ProQuest. The subscription to Academic Complete, ProQuest ebooks collection is active. The collection includes more than 200,000 ebooks from various publishers, of a multidisciplinary topic and continuously updated, with unlimited and multi-user access.
